The following is an editing piece I put together from found footage; I found a video tape of a young boy's 1989 6th Grade Graduation in the pile of VHS tapes on offer from a sidewalk vendor in Toronto. The original video was about a half an hour long, but the recurring scenes of the proud mother chasing down her son, Michael, emerged as a poignant yet amusing thread running through the video. The added bonus of the overlooked little sister trying desperately to gain the attention her brother tries to escape just made it that much more interesting. So I took those moments and edited them together, using the sound from the original video to tie it together.
